Upper East Side Apartment

A four bedroom home for a young, growing family was created within the context of a newly constructed apartment house.  The project presented the first opportunity for the client to design a home from scratch.  The desire was to create a space that could encompass the activity of a bustling family life without missing out on the chance to produce an elegant personal statement.  The result is a softened modernism enlivened by elements that reference the client’s family history and origins.
